Hunting in the Dale Hollow Lake Obey River Area
Hunting on and around Dale Hollow Lake and the Cumberland Plateau. Hunting is not allowed in Pickett State Park, However, it is allowed in the nearby Pickett State Forest and Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. Tennessee statewide hunting regulations apply and licenses can be purchased at the park office.


Dale Hollow Lake U.S. Army Corps of EngineersDale Hollow Lake Hunting licenses are required in both Kentucky and Tennessee.  Special permits are required in each state for hunting certain game such a deer and waterfowl. Check state laws for complete information. Licenses may be purchased at County Clerk's offices, marinas and many other commercial establishments in each state
